Vincent

Formerly a Turk employed by the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company, Vincent Valentine has survived many hardships, including experimentation, torture, and his alter form, known simply as Chaos. For the longest time, Vincent was a lonely wanderer, afraid to love again after what befell his first love, Lucrezia. However, something changed when he stumbled across the territory of Tidelord Zaneira in the land of Lethia many years later. He accompanied the Tidelord at her request, but felt deeper emotions for her than he had for anyone in a very long time. The two became close, and Vincent helped eventually forge an allegiance between the Abyssal Shades and the Sentinels of Sanctum. He later discovered that he was Sephiroth's biological father, and Zaneira quickly accepted Sephiroth as her own son, even snapping when other people tried to say otherwise. Hojo returned and at one point had Zaneira kidnapped and put through much of what Vincent was subjected to, but Vincent tracked them down and freed Zaneira, and it wasn't long after that Hojo met his end at the hands of SOLDIER 1st Class Ilixia Stormfront.
