Lux

Lux is an ex-SOLDIER 2nd Class who hails from Midgar. Lux was born in Gongaga Village a few years after Zack Fair. She lived most of her life in the shadow of the Mako reactor at Gongaga, but when she was old enough, Lux found work at the amusement park at the Gold Saucer. Lux earned a decent living at the Gold Saucer, where she ran the park's roller coasters, but what Lux really craved was danger. She travelled to Midgar and joined SOLDIER, where she spent several years gaining in rank and carrying out various missions, some of which led her to ponder whether the actions of Shin-Ra were truly justified. Lux took a trip to visit her family in Gongaga, and it was while she was there that the Mako reactor exploded. Lux survived, but her family was killed in the explosion and Lux, driven by grief and anger, sought out AVALANCHE and took down a good number of their operatives, blaming them for the explosion when in reality it was just an accident. She returned to the Shin-Ra building, soaked in blood and seething in rage. Lux was kept on-base for weeks on end, and during this down period is when she came across files about what took place and what was still taking place in the Shin-Ra Manor, and what befell Zack Fair and Angeal Hewley, whom she greatly respected. Lux deserted violently the following night. Shin-Ra pursued her for several years, but seemed to lose interest in her until she was snatched off the streets of the Midgar slums by one of their Turks and a group of SOLDIERs five years later. She was saved by Yazoo, one of Sephiroth's Remnants. A special bond formed between the two. Lux is now a wandering warrior. She is vampire as a result of a vampire attack. Mates with Yazoo.
