Boreas and Hibiscus had high hopes that Aura would follow in their footsteps and join the Culinary Subdivision. Aura had other plans; she was going to join the Hunting and Gathering Branch instead. She respected her parents' choice of work, but felt it wasn't for her.

This led to her parents feeling disappointed in her, especially Boreas. He had every intent on disowning her and it was only due to her mother talking him down that he ultimately didn't. However, the relationship between Aura and her father remains very strained. Her relationship with her mother is better, but still strained. It is hard when it always seems that the parents have an air of disappointment around them.

Needless to say, Aura doesn't visit often and greatly prefers to doing just about anything else. She's become one of the better hunters of the Clan and has a certain wildness to her. In fact, she made her own fighting technique to take down larger prey-the Wild Dance. By being swift and confusing the target with her colorful apparel as she flies in random directions, she can take down many medium sized targets at once or one large target without much help.

Aura did take an interest in Kai's fireworks and it was at one of his many shows that they met. The two hit it off-first in friendship, but eventually it would grow to something more. Aura sometimes brings Kai materials for his fireworks, to which he is most grateful.

When Aritimi came to the Clan, she quickly found friends in both Kai and Aura. Eventually, she too would become a mate of both. Kai and Aura plan on having offspring together, whereas Aritimi is content being either a second mother to said offspring or an aunt.

Aura does enjoy make up and finds the Shadow Flight's aesthetic to be interesting. She specifically chose the spectral flame in order to better intimidate enemies.
