The cousin to Autumn, the two decided to find another Clan together so that way they wouldn't be by themselves in a new situation. He also joined his cousin in the Culinary Subdivision. Boreas has a temper. It doesn't take much for him to blow up at someone while working. Everything must be perfect or it's wrong. While one should try to take a lot of pride in one's work, Boreas's issue is that he makes an enemy out of good and has unfortunately been rather wasteful in that if it's not perfect, it goes right into the trash. This has led to many talks to him about his behavior and how it affects not only the others that he works with, but the Clan as a whole. Rather than let him be in charge of making food, Boreas ended up being assigned to preparing it-by cutting up meat, fish and other foods and storing them away for when they are to be used. By putting him there, Kodiak and Gloriana figured that he wouldn't be anywhere near as wasteful as he was before. Plus, he's by himself as well. His cousin Autumn does visit him to make sure that he's okay. While being by himself working, he has been able to reflect on his actions. At first, he denied being the problem; that it was the fault of the others not being up to his standards. But over time, while he'd still blame them, it became more and more half-hearted. He started to really look at how he'd treat others and he'd see their hurt. Boreas felt shame. Autumn would give him some advice, telling him that he could change and be better and more forgiving towards others as well as himself. Change would take time, but it would be worth it as it would significantly decrease the stress levels in the kitchen. Step by step, Boreas took her advice. It was easy to fall back into old habits, so he'd keep track of how many days he did better before falling back. Each time, he was able to go longer and longer without falling into old habits. This was noticed by his fellow coworkers and they made sure that he knew they appreciated this and would be more open with casual talk with him. He was asked if he wanted to go back to his position prior, but he decided to stay and prepare food. It was needed and necessary and that was good enough for him! Boreas did see when Hibiscus came to the Clan. Her specialty was seasonings and making tasty drinks. He was quite intrigued by this, as it meant added preparations. Plus he wanted to taste said seasoned food. Needless to say, he enjoyed her willingness to share any food with her quality seasonings and would chat with her for a bit on any sort of topic. Over time, the two developed a fondness for each other and became mates. While he's been able to better manage his temper and become much more sociable, he can still be fiery when angered. He's no longer the ticking time bomb.
