Biography

7z7785C.png Pathfinder
;; ranger | she/her/hers

"I didn't notice the fae until I nearly stepped on her, prompting an indignant squeak from the pile of dirt that promptly rose into a dignified, if dusty, little ranger. A cloud of grey followed as she rose into the air and hovered just beyond my nose. Worn leather and hide barely stood out against her scales, which I quickly realized were as brown as the dirt below - part of my issue with seeing her before. The only splash of color on her form were her eyes; they sparkled like two green gems, quick and brilliant.

"I know they said you were blind without glasses," the fae grumbled, "but I didn't think it was that bad!"

I made my apologies and squinted through the dust that had accumulated on my spectacles. "And who would you be? One of the fae sisters I've been hearing so much about, perhaps?"

The fae snorted. "Typical. But yeah. I'm Pathfinder."

Information
Name // Pathfinder
-- Meaning of name // one who goes ahead and discovers or shows others a path or way

Alignment // Chaotic Good

Class // Ranger

Personality // Naturally tomboyish, Path prefers to spend her time out in the brush rather than inside the safety of the clan's lair. She always enjoys a good fight and has a spunky attitude that has lead her into trouble more than once. The headstrong fae isn't afraid to challenge someone, even a leader; she is naturally defiant of authority, and it takes a lot to earn her respect. Though she may be ridiculously tiny, do not let looks deceive; Pathfinder is a very deadly dragon. Skilled in the art of stealth, more than one friend has been startled by her seemingly spontaneous appearances, and more than one enemy unaware of their approaching demise. Though primarily a Scout, Pathfinder is also trained to work as a spy and fighter in times of conflict.
-- Likes // wilderness, the wind through the leaves, fruit flies
-- Dislikes // lawbreakers, indoors, mangoes

Background // BACKGROUND
-- History // One of the few dragons born and raised in the Inn at the Crosswinds, Pathfinder is the daughter of Dawn and sister to Drift. Like her sister, she earned her name for an innate ability: her sense of direction. Never in her life can Pathfinder remember being lost or confused about her location. A useful - if confusing - skill for one born in the Crosslands, the only place with no direction.

Pathfinder quickly proved herself unnaturally adept at moving through the constantly changing, mist-covered lowlands of the Crosswinds. She is also one of the few dragons who cannot leave them with ease; for to leave, or enter, you must be lost, and that very state is against Pathfinder's nature. However, her skills within the Crosswinds have made her an invaluable resource for navigating, patrolling, and finding those lost or hiding within its reaches. Very few dragons can outsmart Pathfinder on her home turf.

Yet one fae managed to do just that. Ferrin snuck his way into the Crosswinds and proceeded to cause chaos, stopped only by Pathfinder's eventual intervention. Yet though they originally met as criminal and punisher, Pathfinder helped Ferrin correct (most of) his ways. They have turned into one of the most skilled fighting duos in the clan, their stealth and subtlety rivaled only by the ferocity and strength of Morgana and Fathom. Together with Ferrin, Pathfinder trains and heads the Rangers.

Notes //
+Has a fascination with climbing, and can often be found scaling cliffs around the lair
+Strong dislike for sweet things
+Dislikes excessive apparel
+Constantly getting onto other dragons for wasting anything - food, items, time, etc
+Makes a game out of who she can sneak up on and scare. The only dragons who cannot be fooled are her sister, Drift, and Kaen.
