Personality // Like many of her kind, Dawn is more than a little deceiving to the naked eye. Upon first inspection, she is a graceful, beautiful fae with the kind personality to match. But what careless eyes fail to notice are her movements, disguised in the bright garb of a dancer, also mark the sure-footed skills of a silent killer. The twirling sashes and silks are carefully arranged to hide the glint of flashing daggers. And the steely glint in her golden eyes is far from matronly, but shouts of an unspoken loyalty to her family - one she would kill for.

Background // BACKGROUND
-- History // Dawn came to the Inn as a young dancer, part of a traveling troupe that blew in after getting lost. She created quite a stir by nearly killing Brielle for his aggressive and unwanted advances. He hadn't known her troupe's other specialty; they trained and hired out assassins, killers who could slip into any clan under the guise of entertainment. Dawn had spent her life training with silks, sashes, and daggers. Brielle was lucky to walk away with his life.

Despite her initial impression, Dawn decided to stay at the Inn after falling for Daybreak, an awkward, gentle imperial on the Home Guard. They made a nest and brought three hatchlings into the world - Sunrise and Sunbeam, the twins, and Junior. All three had the spirit of the Windsinger; the twins left to work in his service, and Junior - feeling the wanderer's call - left to explore his ancestral home of the Sunbeam Ruins.

Daybreak died to illness not two months after his children left. Dawn, sick with grief, disappeared. Blue feared her gone, lost to the wilds of the Crosslands - until she reappeared two months later with two newly-hatched fae in tow. They were obviously hers, and just as obviously not; their father remains a mystery to this day. However, Dawn is a doting mother, and the three fae are a close-knit family. Both Pathfinder and Drift have stayed with the clan.
