HISTORY

Chane was never the lucky sort, but he did very well at keeping it hidden. In fact, at a young age he discovered how to channel his terrible luck to his sister. He didn't feel like a terrible person for it, he hated his sister anyway. He hated all of his clan-mates.

They acted like darkness was evil, and that just wasn't so. After all, he had opened his arms to the darkness at a very young age, and had only received good things in return.

Every time it looked like others would suspect him, he'd set his meek, naive sister up for a fall again. He paid off some seers, and allied himself with some wild harpies. Both disgusted him, but they helped get the job done.

Then one day his sister ran away. The seers couldn't find her, the harpies couldn't track her, and Chane had lost his scapegoat.

So Chane decided it was time for him to leave. With no one to channel his bad luck to, and the darkness ever present, it was only a matter of time before the shade-slayers caught wind of him.

So in the space of a few hours, his parents lost their daughter and son. The Darkness had been a better parent to him anyway.

PERSONALITY
tumblr_o1zrsv44JN1ufdm5xo1_400.png

Chane can be described as wicked. He can be cruel and vicious. He gets what he wants, no matter who gets in his way. He is unlucky, and also seeks to spread his misfortune to others.

His only redeeming quality (if it can be considered thus) is his calculating mind, and his level-headedness despite varying degrees of pressure.

He is unstable and paranoid. He is mistrustful and occasionally angry. On his own he speaks to himself. He wants to rule the world by bringing it to its knees. He can be passionate and charismatic when he wants to. Chane is deceptive and manipulative.
