Skyshatter

Skyshatter was, at one point, a highly intelligent Pearlcatcher. His wingspan was impressive, he could fly higher than any others in his clan, he flew loops that could make a Spiral dizzy, and he was such a charmer that many females swooned. He was also quite gifted with magic, weaving patterns of electricity into beautiful scenes.

And then… Somehow he got it into his head that he was brilliant enough to use a magical scroll with no tutelage or supervision. Sure, his transformation physically went pretty well. The Pearlcatcher seamlessly took on the visage of a Wildclaw. But mentally, something went awry.

Now the clan klutz, it isn’t uncommon to see him wandering aimlessly around the multiple caves that compose the lair, squawking loudly and stumbling about. His flying abilities are wonky; he flies in an uneven rhythm, at an unsteady pace, unable to make a straight line or hold a formation. His landings are far less than glorious, often resulting in an extensive ditch with a large pile of dirt at the end.

His sense of fashion went down the drain as well, and his apparel is often terrible and mismatched.
