Rosemary, not being hatched with the requirements of her family, was abandoned. She grew up alongside a Shadow Flight foster family, which soon decided Rosemary needed better care, and more time. They left her at the Auction House, wearing a sign that read "For sale: 7,500 treasure. Please give her a home." The days went by, and Rosemary watched as other dragons were being bought, but none came for her. One lonely day, a member of a Wind Flight Clan walked up to the Coatl. Signaling to the Auction House dragon section manager, the Pearlcatcher said, "Send a message to the seller of this here Coatl, please. Write that there is a Clan willing to take them in."

Soon, Rosemary's Shadow Flight foster family arrived, thanking the purple Pearlcatcher and taking the 7,500 treasure. Walking back to Rosemary, the Pearlcatcher said, "I'm Salvia, from the Clan of Kestrels. You'll have a new home there."


Since that day, Rosemary remained in the Clan of Kestrels, found a mate and had hatchlings of her own. She grew to be one of the most important dragons in the clan, and became a member of the Leader Council. She now lives a happy life with her family and friends.
