~Biography~
Cairo lives with his family of his mate, Heather, and his three
hatchlings, Clematis, Lapis, and Dusk (Clematis and Lapis are
both actually Unnamed, and being sold on my hatchery, the
Wild Winds Hatchery).
Cairo's best friends are Salvia and Crystal, the writers at a
shop called Crystal's Writing Shop. Salvia is Crystal's
daughter, and as well as a writer, Crystal's assistant.
Cairo, his hatchlings, and Heather visit them at the
shop whenever they weren't not busy.
Cairo doesn't have much of a memory of his past in
a different clan, since he was sold when he was just
a hatchling. Cairo knew that he had been sold, but
didn't care much, but what bothered him was that
it was just to get lair space and treasure
~Perfect Love~
Cairo sat with his best friend, Crystal, Crystal's
daughter, Salvia, and Cairo's three hatchlings,
Dusk, Lapis, and Clematis (Lapis and Clematis
are actually Unnamed. I'm just making up a
name).
Crystal and Solumara were part of a writing
shop called Crystal's Writing Shop, and they
were helping Cairo teach his and Heather's
hatchlings to read and write. All too soon,
a shadow black and fuchsia-winged dragon
flew up to the group of dragons. "Ms. Salvia
and Mr. Crystal," the dragon said, dipping his
head respectfully, "another customer has come
to your writing shop."
"Thank you, Capietall. Also, you do not have
to refer to us as Mr Crystal and Ms Salvia,"
Crystal responded. "Sorry, Cairo, but we
must take this order and get to work,"
Salvia said, "we'll come back again
tomorrow." Cairo nodded, and the
three dragons flew away, leaving
Cairo, Lapis, Clematis and Dusk.
"Are we still going to learn to read
and write?" Clematis asked, looking
up at his father. "Of course, Clematis,"
Cairo responded.
A few hours had passed, but teaching
his hatchlings to read and write without
Salvia and Crystal to help was proving
nearly impossible. He tried not to slam
his face into the grass in frustration,
successfully. Inside the den, Cairo's
mate, Heather, clearly noticed his
frustration and walked out. "Are
you okay, Cairo?" She asked. "I
guess. It's just it's a bit hard to
teach Dusk, Lapis and Clematis to
read and write without Salvia and
Crystal," Cairo responded. "But what
makes it different without Salvia and
Crystal?" Heather asked. Cairo sighed,
and in response said, "I don't know,
actually." "Then I guess that's the problem.
Come take a break," Heather replied, calling
their hatchlings back to the den. Cairo curled up
with Heather and their hatchlings, smiling, and
slowly drifting into sleep.
