Almandine ❧ sorcerer
Almandine is a quiet and gentle natured sorcerer whose talents lie in empowering everyday objects. He completed his apprenticeship under his sorceress mother Rubellite and her brother, his uncle Sugilite. He never could get the hang of his hyperactive mother's earthquake spells or flying boulders, preferring to study with his quiet uncle.
He adapted Sugilite's own technique of charming jewelery, learning to enchant more basic objects. Although this talent seemed mundane at first, they quickly realized his skills were an invaluable asset to any clan! Tinkering away happily at his desk, he enchanted bowls to resist breaking, coin scales that repelled counterfeit currency, and many more little tweaks and improvements.
While his particular brand of sorcery isn't much use in a battle or a large scale project, Almandine loves nothing more than using his abilities to provide tiny but thoughtful quality-of-life improvements to those around him.
