Evershine

A warm and motherly dragon with a kind heart, Evershine is a beloved member of Eden. Not only for her kindness, but for her 'almost unholy talent with food' as most dragons would say. When most dragons ask her how she grew so talented, she would just shrug. Saying that it's just something she picked up and ended up teaching herself. Stating that 'When you've been around as long as I have, you teach yourself a few things to keep yourself occupied'

But despite her happy and cheerful disposition now, she had a fairly rough past. She's a stunning dragoness, as the clan would tell you, but that opinion wasn't theirs alone.

She was born into a happy and loving clan, with warm and caring parents. But she was stanched up. Stolen away by dragons who wanted to use her beauty for their own gain. She was made into a 'breeder', a dragoness whose soul purpose was to produce young that could fetch a pretty penny. And when those who took her deiced she was too far gone her prime, and that her looks weren't 'selling' any more. She was tossed onto the auction block, for a fairly low price as well

'Such a old dragon that has been bred as much as you? You'd be lucky to be bought up as fodder' was what she was told as she was left waiting, hoping that someone would take pity on her. But no dragon ever gave her longer than a glance. Her sorrow, stress and less that easy life had taken it's toll, making her look so much older than see was. She understood to be exalted was a high honor. But she did not yet wish to serve the gods. She has yet to have the joy of raising her children. Watching them grow. From having a true, honest mate she loved. And she did not wish to serve a god she did not love.

But she was noticed. Cheru had come across the crestfallen Pearlcatcher. At first, Evershine was terrified of the large imperial. Of her burning plague eyes. And her too many teeth. She watched on as Cheru spoke to her sellers. And nearly wanted to weep when the imperial took her away. But she became internally grateful to the Co-matriarch.

She loves her new home. Her new clan. AND her new kitchen! More than often, you'll smell wonderful scents and smells coming from it, making the whole lair smell wonderful.

And recently, she perfected the clan's delicious cookies AND has even starting making muffins!
