Screziato loves digging. Like, a lot. Even when he's not assisting Breccia with den maintenance, which doesn't happen much these days (he handles the purely earthen areas, whereas Breccia is more capable in stony ground), he's often digging small holes of his own just for fun, and many of them are left alone for several days for hatchlings to play in. The white parts of his fur are visibly dirty most of the time, and his face often shows a clean outline where his goggles have been. He has poor eyesight in one eye from an old wound, but the chestplate he wears has a magical light set in it that helps him see better underground and in shady areas with his good eye. It's easy to find him that way, at least. A pouch containing a healthful and filling nut mixture is usually slung at his hip for on-the-go munching, and he doesn't seem to notice the soil that inevitably gets mixed with it. He is also now the chief forager for the clan, which still involves plenty of digging.

When he's not working, he's often visiting Cinderfall and the clan's hatchlings, or snoozing in a quiet corner, with or without his mate, Peripeteia. He also brings home pretty things he's found while digging, for either general lair decoration or for clan members to add to their personal hoards. He himself collects colored and striped stones that match his own coloring and markings; sardonyx, ironstone, foo's eyes, and the rare dolomite geode.
