Mycena singeri is a species of agaric fungus in the family Mycenaceae. Described as new to science in 1988, it is bioluminescent.
The only child of Miraad's that remains with the clan, Singeri was the leader of the subgroup in the Viridian Labyrinth, despite being born in the Ashfall Waste. Now she maintains Ikposa's smaller herb garden and specialty plants on the Plateau, as well as the insect stores that a large portion of the clan relies on for food.

She was not born with bioluminescence, but rather gained it over time, through slow exposure to her Qiriq companion and regular consumption of glowbugs (the stories about eating too many are true!). She also has a mild gembond affliction, and the gems have their own mild glow. All of the light helps attract insects to her, including pollinators for the gardens, when she can get them to leave her alone and do their jobs with the plants.

Domatia is her closest friend, and not only because the skydancer's night-blooming vines attract glowbugs; they spent a good deal of time together before the clan's consolidation, and the friendship has remained.
