She's always had a weird fascination with gross things, like slime and sludge and moss and weird smelling pebbles. She collects them in bottles and proudly displays them for all the world to see. Her corner of the layer is a bit of a mess, and also always faintly glows because Maw has a "don't throw anything cool out ever" policy. You might consider her gross or unsanitary, and you'd kind of be right, but Maw also sees beauty in everything and is just really against getting rid of things she feels a deep connection to. She and Concordia are best friends and play games online a lot. Maw also knows a ton about poisonous things and is definitely the consultant Nimbus has when it comes to things that poison people. She is also the person Nimbus asks first when someone gets sick directly after coming into contact with Maw's slime which somehow gets everywhere. She's Chrysanthemum's adoptive older sister, and is very supportive of his wrestling habits and creepy stories. She wishes that he'd add more slime to his stories, though.

With the help of Plexippus, she booby-trapped the entrance to the lair with a really sticky slime that catches anyone who doesn't look to see where it's migrated to. Some bumbling Gaoler got trapped in it and has been with the clan ever since.
