The clacking of bone ornaments accompanies the jingling of loose metal bits, shortly followed by a dismissive sniff. And probably a wad of spit flung to the side, if you're unimpressive enough.

Somewhere under that pile of oil-stained leather and dented iron armor is a wiry scrapper of a guardian, unremarkable in stature but filled to the brim with **** and vinegar. One can't help but notice a look of grim determination behind those stylish, arguably practical, shades.

While it's true that Plague territory isn't exactly known for its surplus of engineers and mechanics, one should never question the potency of a can-do attitude and a do-or-die culture. For that matter, who better to ask for improvisation and jury-rigging than someone who is accustomed to working with minimal resources? Being raised in Clan Gainstrive gives a comrade a solid background in learning just what parts can be rendered into useful materials and substances.

Meanwhile, working for the League gives a comrade the opportunity to make some solid dosh with those kinds of talents, even when an overly surly demeanor would normally drive prospective clients away. After all, you can't argue with Ala's results.
