"Funny, isn't it? Something that takes fifty years to build usually only takes about fifty seconds to knock down." This dragon seems prone to swinging from a very casual, laid-back mood to guns-a-blazing gung-ho "LET'S DO THIS" demeanor. Boisterous nature aside, she seems remarkably easy to talk to, and doesn't even seem to mind that you keep staring at her prosthesis.

Not every conflict is solved through brute force, but neither will a silver tongue fix all of your problems. Sometimes, when you **** someone off (or vice versa), it’s all about outmaneuvering your opponent. That’s when you need a little subtlety mixed with a lot of subterfuge. That’s when you need a sapper, a siege engineer, a dragon who will sneak in and reduce the other clan’s fortifications to rubble - or at least reduce the property value of their territory enough that they might be willing to reconsider that truce you offered earlier. In spite of the large stature of her breed, Shrapnelle (just Nel to her friends) is one such being who specializes in destructive low cunning. Not an eyelash is batted at the notion of abusing the technical expertise provided by an upbringing in Clan Synchros and a... rather informal apprenticeship under Avdima, nor a moment’s hesitation shown when there’s an opportunity to get paid for blowing **** up. Really, it’s a great job to have, and it’s a small wonder that there aren’t more dragons who take up demo work. Unless you count the risk of losing a limb or two to your job, should something go awry. But really, that’s what prostheses are for. |
