Linker often says that he emerged fully formed from nature, though whether that’s the truth or not is debatable. He does have a habit of boasting and exaggerating... Regardless of what the true story is, he does have a natural affinity for plants, even able to pass from one to another. Often, once he grew bored with an area, and it was flourishing with life nourished from his magic, he would try travelling to a random other plant, and repeating the cycle. Most of the time it went off fine. But, there were occasional… problems. Such an incident was how he managed to end up at Clan Arkatek.

Needless to say, it was quite a surprise for Trojan to suddenly have a coatl appearing inside his house, and quite painful for Linker. Especially because a fae’s house was not particularly… accommodating for a coatl. It required a rather lengthy stay in the Apothecary, in which he became rather bored. The only company that he really had to begin with was Elseif, and a young coatl that Glitch had recently found and brought back on her travels.

Linker was apparently the only other Coatl that she’d seen so far, so she latched onto him. And he grew to enjoy the energetic visits while he was recovering. So much so, he realized, that he... simply didn’t leave, for she wouldn’t be able to follow him, not the way that he usually travelled.

Now that he’s able to spend time outside the Apothecary, Linker tends to spend a lot of time in the most ‘natural’ space in the Lair, the Mith nests in the Arboretum. He’s taken to aiding Fortran in keeping the area nice and verdant, finding kinship in the other coatl. He could take or leave the Mith, though…

He also enjoys going outside and just enjoying the weather (some dragons joke that he’s photosynthesizing), as well as being surrounded by nature – the underground nature of the lair doesn’t always agree with him, especially during the deepest part of the winter, when there’s the occasional snowfall trapping everyone inside the lair. When that happens, he’ll sometimes use Trojan’s regrown tree home to escape elsewhere… much to the little fae’s annoyance. It’s a little mitigated, because Linker helped regrow the house, but a dragon can only be awoken so many times before it gets annoying.

Recently, he’s been working with Program to create a little arboretum in the lair, in order to get the outside experience, and to cultivate plants from all over Sornieth. Unfortunately, Glitch is a little less than reliable at getting plants from her travels, or even recording where specific ones are, so he’s been having to spread himself a little thin both traveling and maintaining his plants. 		26072943p.png?mtime=V7LE9QAAMJw.png
