Program was hatched in the Windswept Plateau, to a nomadic, high flying clan of dragons. But that wasn’t the life that she wanted. Not in the slightest. She always preferred to have at least two limbs firmly planted on the ground, and had an affinity for Earth magic not typically seen in the clan. In fact, she would much rather be underground than above it. With nice, solid, permanent structures – a rarity when travelling. She attributed it to her odd body, though, as she never knew her parents, nor any other coatl.

When she was old enough, she decided that rather than travel with the rest of the clan, she would simply stay where she was. Though she tried her hardest to convince others to join her, it was to no avail. So, stubborn as she was, Program began slowly developing her magic and – little by little – building a lair out of the earth of the Windswept Plateau. Unfortunately, the surrounding earth was light, crumbly, and not at all conducive to construction. But she refused to give up, continually attempting to rebuild. It was during one of these attempts that Glitch came upon her, intrigued by the structure in the middle of flatness – perhaps something worth mapping. After a few days of visiting, Program decided to accompany the Nocturne back to her clan, and begin anew there.

Upon arrival to the (nice, sturdy, permanent, underground) Arkatek lair, Program quickly made herself at home. But, upon arrival at the infirmary, she was struck with one of the dragons she saw there – another coatl. The first one that she’d ever seen, or even heard of. So she latched on to him, and, thankfully, the other seemed to enjoy her company. It made her happier than she’d ever been to realize she wasn’t odd and alone.

Content with her life, she’s been developing her geomantic powers, assisting in the excavation and expansion of the lair. But her real pride is in taking gemstones, and then trying to reshape them into art and jewelry. She’s not too good at it right now, but her senses for it mean that she has a constant supply. Even her failures don’t bring her mood down, though, as it gves her an excuse to talk to Javax, as the novelty of other coatls still hasn’t worn off. In fact, besides Glitch, the other coatls in the lair are the main ones that seem to humour her energetic, curious, and rather naïve personality.

She has dreams of making something impressive and permanent, but the idea of what she wants to do is, ironically, constantly changing. This means her lair is full of many half completed projects. Linker and Javax do their best to keep her on track, and she does occasionally come back to an older project, but she’s been needing to expand her workspace just to hold everything.
