Biography:

Stargazer is a spirit that is associated with the concept of the stars and lives in the clan with her mate Nightfall and her daughter Weir. Stargazer has adopted a physical form as a necessity after having been essentially stranded on Sornieth when her and her mate's matron fled and left them behind. Stargazer was essentially made to serve her queen on Prufrock, but a prophesy frightened away many of the clan's citizens. As a result, Stargazer and her mate were left behind when the gates to their heaven slammed shut.

As a spirit, Stargazer is more adaptable to magical situations than most dragons and is a powerful mage as a result. Stargazer is more telepathic than a natural born Skydancer and is generally stronger. However, Weir, Stargazer's daughter is actually stronger, having been born a Skydancer with spirit parents.

Stargazer used to be jobless in the Quarry because few needed her specific set of skills, until the Bounty, when magic became far more volatile. Stargazer and Nightfall, being spirits, were far less troubled by their newfound power. Whereas even adult dragons were threatened by the Bounty, young mages were at great danger even before the surge of magical power. In light of this, the clan's elders gave Stargazer and Nightfall the opportunity to make a life for themselves. Stargazer became one of the teachers at the new Circle of Magi, a school meant to help fledgling mages learn to control their power.

Stargazer is the teacher of Mauroban, Ricca, and Mara among other students.

Children of Stargazer (Carina) and Nightfall (Sirius) are flesh and blood as they present to be. The little ones have a greater grasp of magic and have unrivaled empathy as well as increased strength and durability.

Sirius and Carina were once liaisons to a spirit of the moon to the Island of Prufrock. When their Matron left the land of dragons, the gates of her heaven shut behind her and neither Sirius nor Carina could follow. For a time, they despaired, but time goes on and scars begin to fade.
