Biography

At an early age, the Fae was left in the cave of a pack of wolves. It is not known whether this was for a cruel prank, or a rite of some description. Whatever the case, he ended up taking a black wolf for a familiar, when the two ventured through the caves until they reached daylight above. The Fae exited the caves completely unharmed. The latter point has since been attributed to his acute foresight.

((Heh, I thought it was a fun idea to give him the wolf as a hatchling...))
~

Sarynid is fond of meditating, and if others ask for his help to do so, he is willing, if prone to a great deal of oceanic metaphor and imagery. The Water dragon prefers to be sedate and encourages Orssiel to be calmer on matters pertaining to his dreams.

The Water Fae's own foresight manifests as instantaneous glimpses of small focus that relate to an event about to happen in an exceedingly swiftly following moment. Such as he might glimpse an opponent's next strike, or if the over-burdened tree is about to collapse. The nature of his visions tend to be regarding unexpected and sudden events, hitting close to, if not at, the last moment before it happens. In his time this has led to a number of 'close calls' as it were.

At times Sarynid is dragged on outings with Faryelle and Octantis, which can be a very trying experience. Octantis says he's willing to come because of his 'go-with-the-flow attitude'.
Usually, the Fae is the quietest of the group and doesn't often interfere with what they're doing, bar to ensure no one steps into immediate harm's way.

"Oh."
Sarynid found little else to say.

For the other two however, this had become a more familiar challenge.
"So this is what they mean by Plague being the most dangerous realm, huh, huh?"
"Mm. Right. Time to get your nurse-hat on, Chirro!"
"Haaats!"
Surprisingly, it seemed that both Wind dragons were going to be completely focussed for as long as needed. So Sarynid followed their other clue.

He returned while the other two were still playing at being in a medical bay, muttering to himself. "Perhaps stars, deeps, or woods hold an answer..."

"Oh." Sarynid spoke, deadpan, in spite of being no different from his usual, functioning in the place of sarcasm well enough. "Really?"

For the majority of that day, Sarynid was in contemplation of the proposition that they may have accidentally signed themselves up to a war. Although one may expect a group of 'adventurers' to be equipped for battle, anyone with a decent eye for it could take a look at their group and see that a couple of combat-trained Wildclaws could send them packing as easily as plucking grass.
Other dragons in such circumstance might consider enlisting aid from their clans. However, the clan the party was considered to belong to were even more ragtag as an entirety. Though it could not be denied that a number were seasoned fighters, the clan had very loose ties and, for the majority of the time, wandered independently. With improvised means of communication at best, and even only with some members.

The Fae shook his head. A protracted conflict was not something appropriate to inflict on the party. On his own, perhaps, he could be of use. As a hatchling, Sarynid had been able to foresee threats to him moments before they would have occurred, and react. In more recent life he had been able to prevent his companions from taking one dangerous step too far. Recent events being the greatest bout of failings on that front, although there seemed to be no lasting harm.

It was quite possible that a way would need to be found to draw the group out before this adventure embroiled them in war.
