______ There was a time, long ago, when I believed what I wanted more than anything else was to grow old with a faithful mate, surrounded by our innumerable offspring, devoting our existence to peace and service to Icewarden.
Ha! What a fool I was!
Little did I know of the adventures awaiting one who shirks their presupposed duties and has the courage to brave the immensity of the world!

______ Luckily a stranger wandered into my lair and spun his tales of daring exploits and passionate, yet fleeting romances. It didn’t take long before I knew that the life he led was the one I was born for. I left silently, as I have made my custom, in the middle of the night and unknown to anyone else in my home clan and have decided that from that moment on my home would be wherever I decided to lie my head at that moment.

______ Oh, I still plan to have uncountable offspring. A dragon with a quiver full of arrows is a wise derg indeed! They shall be spread far and wide throughout Sornieth, proof of my passing, the embodiment of my legacy.
