Hatchling and Eggs Caretaker
A hatchling caretaker that will occasionally double as a guard, Tourmaline is extremely protective of the hatchlings and eggs. She spends most of her time in the clan's nesting grounds, watching over eggs and hatchlings. Tourmaline will keep the eggs at perfect temperature, knowing all the tricks to keep an egg nice and healthy. At the same time, she watches over the hatchlings, careful to keep them out of trouble and out of the older, busier dragons' spaces. Lucky for her, hatchlings will spend most of their day at their classes. She also helps out with any dragons seeking refuge in the city.



"Just because you have a lot of love to give doesn’t mean you should give it to someone that doesn’t deserve it."



Known to be the protective, intelligent mother type. She takes care of the hatchling, and they all look up to her as a mother. However, being a mother doesn't stop her from being a legitimate tank. She'd lay her life down for the hatchlings. She uses her weight as a weapon by squashing foes and overpowering them easily.

- Secret(s): How much birds she actually keeps. I'm serious!

- According to the Sornieth Floriography Guide, sakura moss stand for maternal love.

- Tourmaline loves her yellow-throated sparrowmouse, whose name is Sunny.

- A flock of birds always follow her around. Hatchlings are taught from an early age not to hurt them.

- She would die for the hatchlings.

- One of her defensive moves is to get the hatchlings underneath her stomach, lower herself to the ground and use her tough scales as protection.

- Surprisingly enough, she didn't receive her gembond gene through inheriting it. Morbid infected her with gembond via accidentally leaving an onyx cobra in the nesting area.

- Her gembond gems are kunzite, which is a very, very valuable gemstone.

- A little chick

- She has a small aviary in the back of her residence.

- She also helps out with any dragons seeking refuge in the city.
