"You talk to animals?" A nod "Join me." An order, not an offer. Walter could tell that much from Viola's tone. She was always looking for talent, and he was talented. Walter was a scout in the losest terms of the word. He rarely stepped foot outside his cabin, already surrounded by foliage. Birds flocked to is feeders, raccoons and stray cats freely have access to his kitchen, mountain lions drank from his pool. A little bird told him she saw something interesting in the Coven's meeting ground. Ah, Viola will want to know this. He was tending playing catch with a small puppy, abandoned a few weeks ago, when Hermione burst in with a dove cradled in her arms. "Walter?" A nod. "Thank you. I-I'll get back to the garden." Right, his little helper from the Order, the plant lover. A nice lady, sometimes she brings him coffee from the shop in the Library. The dove had an injured foot. Poor thing, he'll set it nice and right. There was almost no injuries he could not fix, no animal he could not heal. A butterfly landed on his shoulder and whispered secrets into his ears. Walter smiled. One day, he will uncover all of that dragon's secrets, and expose him for being the monster he truly is. Donalbain... Back to the dove. A bit of gauze and some healthy bedrest should do the trick. Walter smiled and went to the stove, beginning the preparations of his secret energizing seed mix. The dove could use some fiber in her diet. "What do you want?" |
