B I O G R A P H Y

Krendall is a no-nonsense Snapper. Gruff and to the point, he's naturally suspicious of those who haven't earned his trust, often giving newcomers of the Clan a hard time because of this. Despite his abrupt and hard and exterior, he surprisingly has a soft side for hatchlings and particularly his much friendlier mate, Lyrii. Being one of the oldest members of the Clan and a trusted friend of Galiwyth, Krendall is respected by all the clan members, even the few who don't tend to get along with him too well. No matter what his relationship with the rest of the Clan, Krendall is extremely loyal and will protect all other Dragons to his last breath.

Krendall, as the Protector of Prudence, is a Snapper who values respect and loyalty more than anything, honor being a lead forerunner. As a principal, those who earn his respect is given respect back, and if he comes to greatly respect that person for what they do, then he will also give them his loyalty. This rule even applies to his enemy, which, if he deems them respectable, will gladly fight them with honor. If you end up losing his respect and honor, especially after it is gained, he is a stubborn enemy you do not want to endure. Even among his clanmates they all know better than to anger the Snapper, as he can and will hold grudges for long periods of time till his respect is earned once again.

Though Krendall may not show it through his gruff demeanor, he has a one weakness, his fear of losing those close to him. Though his past is unknown before he came to the Clan, the others know better than to tread upon the topic. His loyalty to his friends and Clan is beyond all bounds because of this, despite the many concerned warnings Milithinal, whom he came to think of as a surrogate mom, Lyrii, his beloved, Denali, his daughter, and other clanmates, his stubborn streak is very strong as he simply denies the truth. Even with soft prodding from the few he's very close with, he still refuses to admit there's something bothering him, something from his dark past. Because of this, the others in the Clan all secretly agreed that they would all take care to watch the Snapper to make sure he doesn't do something reckless for the sake of another.

____Krendall's past is shrouded in mystery, but only once did he tell what happened to Galiwyth, his oldest and most trusted friend. Krendall told him of how, long ago, Krendall's parents were not ideal in any way. When Krendall first hatched with his siblings they were all scorned and forced away from the Clan looked down upon as if something was wrong with him. Later he came to the conclusion that there was something very wrong with him. Just a newborn hatchling at the time, Krendall wandered from Clan to Clan, wondering if there was anywhere to call home.

____Before he made the trip here to the Sunbeam Ruins, his first place he truly thought of home was another Clan in the Tangled Woods. Though he stayed only a few days as he continued south, those few days would forever change his life. There, he met the first Dragon he truly regarded as someone worth respect and the first that he called 'friend'. The Dragon, the leader of the Clan, lead her Clan with confidence and chivalry, something he thought was lost until he met her. As he stayed, she taught him how to take care of him and gave him the basis of his firm belief of respect. Everything was fine, until one terrible night...

Now, usually I’m not the biggest fan of snappers. Usually. However, Krendall has caught my eye! His outfit seems to mesh really well with the rest of him, and when looking into his lore, it meshes in that manner as well! I’d expect a gruff, less-than-graceful dragon to wear something akin to the leather jacket of armor, at least that’s what it looks like. I also find interest in where you cut his lore off, which jives thematically since nobody knows what the tragic incident was, so neither do the readers!
