Quiet as he is, Nimrook doesn't have as many qualms sharing about his past when asked. Dragons know that he is one of the first members, even before Ziodyne came along. He loves telling many stories about the clan's starting days, and has no qualms about sharing about his past. He himself has said that he is from the sea of a thousand currents, serving the Tidelord until he was cast away due to a rare affliction to his lungs, causing him to be unable to breathe underwater. He still bears the markings of an elemental servant, with his pseudo-gills and a permanent film of water on his body. Some say the sea has never left him. He is now under orders to act as a flight representative, despite him not particularly willing to. Nimrook has a policy for himself: don't speak unless spoken to. This makes him seem like am extremely good listener to many, but he himself hates when people like to dump exposition on him. Too polite to decline, he often forces himself to listen through rant after rant. The negativity generated from the rants soon drove him to a breaking point, causing him to lash out, breaking his kind facade in a second. Dragons now tend to avoid him with the exception of Tide, who needs Nimrook to keep him grounded. Although he does not particularly enjoy fighting, he decided to become a champion warrior so he could polish up his own skills, and most importantly to protect Tide from himself. All his times fighting beasts has yielded him quite some experience, and he is one of the most forbidding warriors in the clan. In battle, he is as deadly as a whirlpool. Using elemental magic to his bidding, he sends spouts of highly-pressured water into foes, shattering their bones. The force of the water can be so great that it shatters rock. His fighting style of defend and only attack at an opening perfectly compliments Tide's charge-blindly tactic, making their paired fighting extremely dangerous. It is not strange to see blood swirling in his watery film after a large battle. |
