CLAN THUNDERGATE

Beginnings

The clan was founded by the guardian Robin, along with his mate, in a large, abandoned mountain at the edges of the carrion canyon. Founded right after the beast clan attack, there has been a steady supply of dragons from war-torn clans coming in, and they shaped the clan into what it looks like today, building it up with their very own claws.

A new leader

However, one night, disaster struck. A clan of dragons attacked with the intention to kill, and the clan was embroiled in the biggest battle they had to fight. The enemy forces were overpowering, and many dragons perished in the battle. When all hope appeared to be lost, Ziodyne appeared. Along with his partner Maziodyne, they managed to drive the forces back.

The victory was not a cause for celebration, for the forces of the clan are greatly diminished. Among them, Robin and his mate are gone. The poor fae's mangled body is found and buried, but Robin's corpse is never located.

Ziodyne, with his overwhelming prowess displayed in the battle, along with his efforts in organizing the clan quickly after the attack, took over the clan with no protest.

Recently, many new dragons have joined the clan, including ambassadors from different flights. No one knows exactly why those high-ranking dragons have come, but everyone knows that it has something to do with Ziodyne. Other Dragons often come across the clan searching for the thrill of battle, and those who don't are often outcasts, unable to return to their original clan. They more often than not stay as they either have no other place to go, or they really like how the clan works.

Values and structure

The clan was founded on the values of love and peace, but when Ziodyne came, these values were shattered and then reshaped into its current warmongering self. The clan often participates in battles, either to drive dragons or beasts out of their territory or defending theirs from the numerous hostile tribes, using the weakest excuses for their attacks. It is also known for blackmailing and extortion of weaker clans, and many dragons wonder why the Stormcatcher is ignoring such a dangerous group. Every single member of the clan has quite a bit of experience in combat, and work together as a well-oiled machine when engaging in large battles. So far undefeated, the mere mention of this clan and its fearsome leader is enough to make dragons uncomfortable.

Outside of battles, the clan's structure is quite rigid. Each member has a specific role to adhere to, and tasks to complete. Failure to comply will result in dragons facing the wrath of Ziodyne. However, despite the violence and strict structure, most dragons in the clan not feel quite loyal towards their home, and many have loyalty for Ziodyne and Ziodyne only. This has all resulted in a strange clan, with its own unique culture and inhabitants, where dragons are bonded but not quite, happy but not quite.
