The whole lair is waiting until Eikar grows out of his current phase. The angry little teenager is certain that the world is against him. While he's never refused to take on the duties that Lucia sets him to, he makes sure anyone working with him knows that he shouldn't be asked to do this and it's all a conspiracy to make him miserable. Worst of all, he insists, is his beloved Abigael's absence. He refuses to admit that it is by her own choice that she remains in Aitah's lair, insisting that they are being kept apart by an unjust world. Worst of all, he declares, is Saibo, who if she had any heart would permit his darling to leave her vile captivity and return to him. When Phyria left, Eikar took her place in the dairy. At least, he grumbles to anyone who will listen, the goats aren't actively trying to make his life miserable. They do, he declares then, glaring at the nearest, succeed. art by sketchyhunter |

Many of the clan's dragons wonder what Abigael can see in him, but the archivist ignores them with disdain as she flies past, heading to Eikar's perfectly-arranged dairy. Each cheese is in its proper place, each bit of cream has its proper place and its proper label. And no matter how happy he is to see her, he makes sure that all of his implements are spotless and tucked into their designated places before he comes to greet her. |
