Biography

Phyria
Ancient%20FIVE%20red.png
Y5sHixQ.png
38393_350.png With age comes an appreciation for the good things in life, and the patience to wait for them, Phyria always says as she offers visitors her special goat cheese, mixed with honey and aged to perfection. When Phyria joined Clan Warde, she brought with her a long history and many tales that she can be coaxed to share with the hatchlings - and even with older dragons who take the time to visit this elderly fae. Most importantly for the good of the lair as a whole, however, Phyria brought the knowledge to establish and maintain a dairy. The clan already kept goats and deer for their meat, but after Phyria's arrival they learned to enjoy the taste of sweet, fresh milk from the goats who feasted on the highest slopes and the cheeses - oh, the cheese she creates! Sharp, hard rounds of cheese sit next to sweet confections that crumble between the talons and soft, spreadable cheeses tasting of herbs and the sea.
Anyone is welcome in Phyria's dairy when she is working, but beware - any would-be visitors soon find themselves being put to work, straining the sweet cream off the milk, beating it into butter or cheese, or turning the cheeses to ensure a perfect hardness. Only the milking does Phyria reserve for herself, insisting that the larger dragons will harm her charges or frighten them into going dry.

If her visitors are very lucky, they might hear Phyria talk about her father, long-since exalted to the ranks of the Icewarden, or her mother, who appeared from nowhere with her father, neither of them knowing their own families and clinging to each other all the more for that. She may speak of her mates in times long past and the good times they had together. Or sometimes her voice will drop and her eyes will take on a distant sadness as she tells of her one regret in life - her daughter, who she permitted to go to serve the Arcanist without a name. She has nothing now, not even a name to remember her by.
