Nita

BACKSTORY:
Nita was found by Loki, Seti and Mariketa on a scavenging run when she was still but an egg. Afterwards, she was immediately taken in by Onua, who was preparing to embark on The Search, before he identified the unhatched fire egg and its inhabitant as his Charge. The egg was diligently cared for until Nita hatched only a couple of days later. Nita spent all of her time afterward with the young Guardian, following him, his brother and Elsie everywhere they went, proving her mettle to the clan of explorers with her feisty and optimistic flare and sturdy constitution. The four of them went on many escapades together before Nita’s curiosity had been piqued by the frequent comings and goings of the master of the house. She soon decided that she wanted to join in on some of Loki’s expeditions across the regions, with the dutiful Onua beside her. Never one to turn down company, Loki eagerly welcomed them, and Nita (with much help from Onua on the details) became something of the clan leader’s chronicler. Somewhere along the way, she and Onua eventually became a mated pair.

PERSONALITY:
Never has a Guardian been blessed with a more adoring Charge and mate than Nita. So much so, in fact, that Nita constantly attempts to emulate him by embarking on her own version of The Search, much to Onua’s amusement. She can easily be described as tireless, spunky and incredibly resourceful. She thinks better on her feet and is quite adept at making things up as she goes, despite how much she wishes she could be like Onua in the way he’s able to plan a situation out without actually having to live it. Onua, for his part, is quick to assure her that her way of doing things tends to make life a bit more interesting. She is by no means the restless type, though, and is perfectly capable of sitting down and channeling her boundless energy into more subtle activities, like making feathered jewelry with the clan mute and his Wildclaw friends, a pastime she actually finds almost as entertaining as going on trips with Loki and Onua.

Despite the many times Onua has tried to tell her that The Search is something that only Guardians are compelled to perform, she likes to remind him that Clan Loki is made up almost entirely of dragons who are nothing at all like they’re respective breeds and his father (Pohatu) is a fine example of that, thank you very much.
