It was around the time of her adolescence that the fighting stopped. The smaller clans no longer raided for food and junk and treasure, and they were soon replaced with larger clans sending "dignitaries" and "ambassadors" to discuss "relations". The dignitaries did not see her as a warrior. They saw a princess, a noble, something to be kept and married off for alliances. Her fathers protected her from that nonsense, but many still insist upon an alliance through marriage. So she leaves, for weeks at a time, and comes back bloody and scarred and prays often that it will be enough to dissuade them all.


She was with her Charge at birth. Phobos, her brother, means the world to her. She would kill for him, to keep him happy. To keep him safe. Safe from the monsters in the darkness, with their teeth and talons and disease, and from those foreigners that drone about trading and policy and alliance and tribute and birthright.


Enyo is happy fighting either, really.
