She is the Tyasathe of the Court of Thorns, the ruler of the forest.

This ancient fey does not favor shiny trinkets or glamorous decorations, and her Court's appearance reflects this. Tyasathe is the ruler of a small outpost of remaining fey, though whether or not she is the rightful ruler is something best not spoken of to her face. It is also unwise to wander blindly into her domain, as Tyasathe does not take kindly to trespassers.

Tyasathe views most things in life as beneficial or not to make the dark fey presence in the world strong once more. This includes her children and the members of her Court. When her son, Gisuja, staged a coup to remove her from power Tyasathe severed his arm during their fight. His brother, Doseibi, stepped in before she could land the killing blow and pleaded for mercy. Tyasathe acknowledged Doseibi and exiled the injured Gisuja - banishing him from the fey realm into the world of dragons and beastclans. But speaking out against her decisions has a price. Doseibi was stripped of his title as heir of the Court as a warning to stay out of her way.

When her youngest children, Setja and Tesja, began showing promise as potential heirs Tyasathe sent them on a mission to find and gather information about the world outside of the fey realm. Unuathe convinced her to send his pet project with the twins to help them set up a base in the Tangled Wood. Tyasathe later sent Kheimon to join them.
