If the word determination didn't already exist, Kizi would be the one to invent it. She's rough and tumble and perfect to patrol the dirtier streets of Windsinger's Haven. Though she's respected amongst the lesser criminals for her willingness to let a few things slide, the goaler finds her job still difficult. Maintaining peace in a such a large city, of course, is always difficult. However, that's why she works under Durai. Not only is her line of work thrilling, it gives her a stable job in an otherwise churning economy. She finds physical work to be more her alley than the mental energy of plans, traps, schemes, etc.

The gaoler is especially known for her speed. When there's a chase afoot, its common to see Kizi right on their tails -- even the spirals have a hard time outrunning her. Her speed often compensates for her lack of physical strength. Crime stops when she's patrolling the streets, particularly if she hasn't been bribed by them. There's no point in running if you're going to be caught anyway. There's an inside joke within the criminals of the city that when you see Marun, her Ampelope familiar, she's already caught up to you.

Kizi can be quite boisterous at times, especially when she's had too much to drink. Though somewhat endearing, it becomes a hassle for her career. This habit, combined with her tendency to sometimes volunteer herself for underground (or aboveground) fight rings has left her with more injuries and scars than necessary. More than once, Durai has reprimanded her for her actions, but they both know she's too valuable to be let go.
