Onyx Princess / Potential Queen Mate of N/A Permanent 
DESCRIPTION Personality, duties, etc. . Onyx is grumpy, salty, self conscious, rude and entitled. Being plagued by constant anxiety and visions/nightmares results in her being more negative and defensive than she actually wants to be. She wants to be a good daughter/princess but worries she doesn't live up to the task. She feels the reoccurring urge that she needs to impress Sapphire. She already has a strong bond with Alamandrite, she knows he thinks highly of her. This is comforting for her but also makes her anxiety go up, she fears with one bad decision on her part will cost her, her father's approval. Onyx regularly thinks back to these images in her head and doesn't know why but she feels scared. The flashing images in her head showed a falling empire, destruction and dragon's lying on the ground. What she doesn't realize is, that those images are her past, when her parent's empire was taken over and was brought to the ground. Onyx was gifted to Sapphire later on by a group of dragon's that helped take down the empire. They didn't want to have such a young dragon with them, so they found someone to take her off their hands. Sapphire gladly took Onyx on as her child and deemed her as princess. Sapphire got some info from the group that was gifting her Onyx, Sapphire became attached to Onyx because they had such similar pasts. She wanted Onyx to have a better life than what Sapphire started with. If Onyx ever found out that Sapphire adopted her, her mind would crumble. She would fall into a deep depression then succumb to a dreadful hate. She would make it her goal to become the new Queen after Sapphire and track down whom ever took down her parent's throne. . |

DESCRIPTION CONTINUED A more in-depth look. Backstory, etc. . Onyx wasn't always a princess. She used to be Topper's daughter. Sapphire gladly took Onyx under her wing, she loved caring for hatchlings. Sapphire also really wanted a princess, she wasn't ready to have more hatchlings of her own. Onyx was raised with kindness, but for some reason she grew up bitter and sour. Sadly Onyx started to feel that she needed to isolate herself once the visions/nightmares began at a young age. She spends her time reading spells, trying to find a way to cure herself of these images that bother her. Onyx rarely leaves her room unless to see her dad, she tries to talk with Sapphire but having a mom as Queen intimidates her or she worries of being unworthy. Alamandrite honestly is proud of Onyx for her similar behavior to his own. It almost makes him feel validated that someone else feels the same way he does. He also takes pride that she takes such an interest in a higher learning in spell casting. He hopes to have her use her spall casting in future battles for conquering other territories. Sapphire noticed the progression of negative/defensive attitude from Onyx. Sapphire regularly checks in on Onyx between meetings/duties. Sapphire makes a point to offer Onyx her time when ever she is free, but being Queen takes up most of her day. Even though Sapphire tries her hardest to be Onyx's role model, Onyx tends to lean to Alamandrite's favor. She hopes to be like Alamandrite when she grows up. What Onyx doesn't realize is truly how toxic and cruel her father is. She mainly just sees Alamandrite when he's ordering other dragons around/taking charge. Onyx doesn't see the manipulating mind games Alamandrite has been slowly distributing around the clan. . . . Art - Coming Soon Quote:
