It's early morning when you encounter the small dragon once more. She gazes skyward, tears still flowing freely from her eyes. Perplexed, you follow her gaze toward the ocean and are surprised to spot a solitary white kite soaring over the turbulent waters. Behind it lies a canvas of pink and orange sky, the fog parting just enough to offer a glimpse of freedom, a sensation you've longed for since your arrival. Your wings ache with longing at the sight. "I hope that with time, you'll come to love it here," The obelisk breaks your focus, and you look back to her with a frown. "Some never do... B-but really, it is nice here. No hunger, no fighting... I hope you give it a chance." You both stare blankly at each other, its clear she feels as awkward as you do. "I'll show you to your new home now... If you'll follow me." Your chest feels heavy, and you get the overwhelming feeling that you can't leave. With reluctance, you nod and let her lead you. |

Erin's parents are unknown to her, much like the rest of dragon kind. She hatched on a cliff overlooking the sea, on an island devoid of life. But she was not alone. The island had plans for her, and it raised her with love and care. Protecting, feeding, and nurturing her. Erin is always aware of the island's thoughts, it's feelings. She is its mouthpiece, delivering news and instruction to the other island residents. wip wip wip |
