Biography
When he was hatched he was smaller than the other hatchling’s talons. They didn’t think he would make it out alive; and when he did, he was just laughed at for his size. All throughout school the other dragons teased about stepping on him, which they very easily could on accident. He was the size of a butterfly, and he was very courageous and proud. However, he was rather hot-tempered for his size.
One day Markham was at school and the mean dragons were yelling at someone else for once. He felt relieved at first, and then was upset. They yelled at a dragoness who was rather wide in diameter, a Snapper. She wasn’t even fat even though they wouldn’t stop saying she was, it was just her breed.
“Fat! Fat! Fat! You literally look like a yellow potato,” One of them remarked, laughter spilling over his words as he wheezed with laughter. The snapper growled and flinched away from them as one raised his fist.
“Dang, why the heck are you such jerks? Is there nothing more interesting to do for you? Just go away already!” Markham shouted.
“Oh, what is that? Do I hear a little fly buzzing in my ear?” The leader, a black Wildclaw whose markings were very similar to a Raccoon’s, exclaimed.
“I’m not a fly, I’m a FAE. Do you not even know the breeds? And she’s not a FAT, she’s a SNAPPER,” He pointed dramatically at the Snapper that snorted in amusement.
“Do you want me to squish you that badly, fly? Okay.” He brought up his hooked talons and smashed them down, but missed Markham. He would regret that, thought the Fae.
Your fur is already black, but let’s see what it looks like covered in ashes.
He whipped out a match and fluttered behind the Wildclaw’s head, stroking it down his neck. The leader shivered and spat “What did you just wipe on my neck? Your little butterfly snot?”
“No, but I think butterfly snot would be better than flames.”
