 Healing. Healing was disgusting. Healing was disgusting, dishonorable and forbidden. Disease was lovely. It was perfect and their place in the world to spread, for they were Plague. She was admired by her peers for her “spreading” ambition. She wanted to spread over 50 diseases by the time she became an adult. Little did she know she would never spread a single one.

As a hatchling, she was infected with a sickness that the Plague could not spread. Instead it killed. The first day she woke up and her scales itched horribly. The next day they began to burn like a fire. The third day her head began to swim; she felt as if she was sinking into tar and the more she struggled the more it hardened around her.

The Elders thought it was wonderful, they thought she wasn’t dying but being claimed to serve right by the Plaguebringer herself.

Her brother was concerned, and one night, just before she would pass away, he lifted her and carried her to the lake. It was silver from the tears of the moon, and he placed her in the shallows. Raising his claws and casting shadow on her scales he began to chant. She could not remember his exact words for she was barely conscious, but at the climax of his spell a wave of water washed over her, and she felt clean and healed. The tribe had been watching, and the siblings were now outcasts.

Anura is tentative and quiet. She is a loyal plauge dragon, but she now believes in the power of healing because of when he her brother healed her. She used to look just like her brother but the healing magic that healed her had a side affect that turned her blue.SEE TOAD'S INFORMATION
