Nycter is small as a dog and speaks with a squeaky voice that sometimes goes into ranges that some dragons can't hear. He prides himself in his pointy chin and large nose-leaf, and preens frequently while hanging upside down from his mate's gymnastics bar. When she kicks him off the bar so she can be majestic, he goes to sulk in a little burrow that usually cheers him up because it is cozy and has strings of lights and a collection of old, black and white movies.
Ooo, and a stash of BBQ jerky bits! He loves that mysterious jerky. So chewy and smoky. He cuddles up with his favorite plush and a collection of wooden unicorns, and curls his toes.

His favorite activity is exploring caves. Dragon Home has lots of them and he loves the dark and the amazing, delicate rock formations in dewy limestone. Still pools of blind fish, silence except for the drip, drip, drip, and lots of tasty beetles and their larvae. Ah, so cool and dark and peaceful. Fungi are of great fascination, aesthetically, though he hasn't bothered to learn much about them. His familiar is a truffle, though, so there's definitely a fondness going on there.
