GALLEON
The Living Treasure Pot
Cryptic | Frugal | Straightforward | ?

Galleon is a strange being that once accompanied a thief named Belli before the mirror passed and Galleon took over as the effective treasurer of the clan when Araloz passed as well. As far as any of the magical experts can tell he's not actually a living dragons but a mirror statue given sentience, his body is made of stone but his wings are fabric, cracks from age and fights have exposed what lies within. His purpose is to collect gold coins and hoard them inside his body by eating them. The emblem on his wings is the standard dragon mark put on all dragon made coins but the historian speculates that it's actually the mark of the first dragon bank which the mark used today is based off of which would put his origins at millennia old.

Only Galleon himself can give the treasure away so even though coins constantly fall from his cracked hide the never last long before vanishing and reappearing within him. There seems to be no end to how much treasure he can hold and no matter how much is taken away he always seems filled to the brim. He can contain more then gold alone and has eaten many rare gems and other artifacts like nickel cats and silver pocketwatches so long as it can fit in his mouth or enter his back. He can automatically recite all the contents within him and enjoys puzzles that often boggle everyone elses minds. He is content wandering the lair and he can often be heard long before he's seen by the clinking and ringing of the coins within him.

His frugal nature is born of his insecurity. If all the coins within him were to be taken out what would be the point of his existence? Could he even exist or would the magic holding him together weaken and disperse if his purpose is not fulfilled? His other main trait is being cryptic in word though he often straightforward in manner and action, it seems he just likes the wordplay.

Left paw up – If the Maneki Neko is beckoning with its left paw, it is told the cat will attract customers. This is perfect for businesses and shop owners. Business owners may place the cat statue in the window or near the entrance to attract more customers on a daily basis.
