Phei had a huge falling out with his birth clan and was told to never set foot there or anywhere near there ever again on threat of death. So naturally once Phei had settled into this clan as one of the smartest in a very, very long time he started going back. It was just to the edge of the clan's borders and he would leave little presents along the trees for his mother, but it was enough to make him feel extremely satisfied about getting back at the leader. He would also take the time to gather thrown out scraps from other Lighting clans and take them home. Although Other then leaving small things for his mother to find and gathering scraps he mainly went back to visit a female Coatl named Taima. He had already decided that he was in love with her and she felt the same, but was torn between her home and him. Phei's closest friends are Rani and Rivris. They met when they were introduced to the clan as the three newest flight reps. Rani and Rivris seemed to already know each other. Rivris was helping Rani walk for some reason unknown to Phei. He later found out it was because she and her supposed "seeing eye" animal were both blind. It took him ages of getting to know them both to finally find out why and how they were both blind. Phei took to her the most out of the two girls and even Rivris thought Phei liked the Fae Dragon. To Phei she was like a younger sister, even though she was older. He got help from Aeli and Kendrix along with some other Fae's living in the clan to learn out to read the emotions that were expressed in their head fins when they spoke. When he finally figured it out and told Rani about it the joy that was expressed by her made even more people think he liked her and that she liked him, but he really just hated that she couldn't communicate in a good way with her own species. He wanted to help. Then Cas was born. He hatched out of the smallest egg the clan had seen and was told he would never be able to fly. Phei immediately took to him. He used his model for his flight enhancement wings and used it to make it possible for Cas to at least glide and move his wings. He went on to become his apprentice and loves to make little things. In a way Cas is like Phei's first son. (Even though Cas' real parents still live in the clan) And then one night a female Coatl came wondering into the clan. She was stopped by Azphel and Zikel. They demanded to know who she was and why she was here. The commotion brought people out and Cas got Phei to leave his den to come see what was going on. When Phei saw that it was Taima his 'don't talk to the stronger dragons if you can help it, they can kill you and you don't know where their breaking point is' rule was broken and caution was thrown aside. He was in between Taima and Azphel in an instant, teeth bared and claws out. If Sparrow hadn't stepped in that moment Azphel and Zikel certainly would've left a nasty scar for Phei's "out burst". Sparrow had to calm Phei down before he could speak. When he did speak he told Sparrow that this was his mate from back in the lightning flight. He explained everything to him and after a short while Taima was allowed to stay in the clan. Phei got an earful from Taima the moment they were alone about being stupid and that she could take care of herself. Once everything settled down Phei and Taima planned to have their first clutch of eggs in time for them to hatch on Friday the 13th mostly as a little joke between themselves. (He's only in the 5th rank because other dragons are afraid of what he'll do if left unsupervised. He's not a very good fighter. Taima wins most of his battles for him. Of he uses a weird science thing to confuse the dragon challenging his rank.) |
