Luxsei is pretty close friends with Kei and Quetzal and generally gets along with everyone. She and Kei share the same energetic personality but Luxsei has no interest in learning about other flights, especially her birth flight, Ice. She was the only egg in her clutch and from early on noticed how her parents weren't happy with her. They seemed to almost be disappointed that their only eggs hatched into what she was. So she ran, feeling like she didn't belong. It was a while before she came across a young Spiral about her age. He was kind and noticed that she as hungry so took her back to his clan. To Luxsei's surprise it wasn't a clan from the Nature Flight but one from Arcane. He told her that he and one of his other siblings found better homes in different clans, but there wasn't any hard feelings between him and his old clan. Shortly after she met a very kind Guardian named Sparrow and his slightly hot-headed mate Dove. (She was a little ball of anger at times Luxsei figured out much later! She didn't think a Fae could be like that) They were both kind enough to let her eat and eventually they let her stay in the clan. Welcoming her as one of their own. For the first time Luxsei felt like she belonged. Later on she realized that she had fallen for Lapwing, hard. He was extremely dense though and wouldn't notice when she would be flirting. She had to get help from Kei and her mate to even get his attention on the fact that someone might be even the smallest bit interested in him romantically. But eventually she told him how she felt and luckily he had felt the same way. They had a nest of two eggs, but both of them ended up feeling like they were meant to serve under the gods and so left early on. She missed them, but knows how nice it is to find somewhere you feel like you belong. |
