    Taima had always felt at home with her clan and flight. She never thought that one dragon would make her want to leave. Taima knew Phei from a young age and they would always go back and forth from their home clans to talk and play. When they got older it got less frequent and then one day it just stopped. Phei's old clan pretended like he never existed and his parents weren't any help. She thought his stupidness got him into huge trouble and that she would never see him again.
    But then on a random night Phei woke her from her sleep. She yelled so loudly at him that it woke up her entire clan. They all watched as Taima ripped him a new one for leaving without telling her where he had gone. And then when she was finished her clan nagged him about visiting angry coatls late at night and disrupting sleep. But in all Taima (and her clan because she had been a moping mess) was relieved that he was alive and well. She listened to him tell about how he had found a new home with an Arcane clan and how he felt like he could do something for them and make a better life for himself. She was angry with him for asking her to leave her home and come with him. Even if a little voice in her head was telling her to go she told him no. So at least three times in a week Phei would come visit her and tell her stories of his new home. Of the dragons who lived there that were not the nicest and the ones who were the kindest. And how he thought it was the funniest thing that most of his clan thought he liked one of his friends when they had no idea that he liked her.
    All of his stories made Taima wish she was there with him, but she wouldn't ever tell him. Her pride at that first no was holding her back. It took her mother to convince her to leave her home clan. She was told that one day Phei might not want to keep doing this with her. That she could see how much Taima wanted to go be with Phei everyday. So she left.
    She eventually found where Phei's new home was after asking a few stray Arcane dragons from other clans. She didn't think anything of it when she walked right in. But she was stopped by two dragons almost before she was all the way in. Taima was super close to letting the two of the male dragons have a piece of her mind when Phei was in front of her teeth bared and ready to fight them. She noticed from the way he was standing that he was scared out of his mind and the other coatl must have noticed it as well. But a Guardian stepped in before anything could happen. She later learned that he was the leader of the clan. He let her stay since they were a pair and the first moment Taima got alone she went up to Azphel and Zikel and told them off for being the most unwelcoming idiots she had ever had the misfortune of meeting.
    She promptly told Phei off for being an idiot and trying to get himself hurt. Even thought she was slightly happy that he would do something like that for her she didn't want him hurt.
    When they decided to have hatchlings of their own Taima convinced Phei that they should time it so their babies would be born on a Friday the 13th.
