It looks nice multi-lined as well, if the quote is long." ▰▰▰_____________________________________ Leda is the heir apparent to Askarel Port, the next Crimson Lady, and the embodiment of all her mothers' hopes and plans for the future. Unfortunately, she's not particularly good at any of it. That's not to say that she's not an exceptionally powerful magic user, or that she's bad with a weapon -- she's neither, she's just too gentle. While Trekka's rule is built on cunning, backstabbing, paranoia, and meticulous multi-layered plans, Leda is sweet and compassionate. She cries when she kills bugs, hates combat despite her skill with magic and broadsword alike, and would rather believe the best about everyone -- including those who wish her harm. The idea of making the same pilgrimage as her mother to become Plague-touched is her worst nightmare; while she loves the deep pine forests and mountains around the port, a trek across the Boneyard might be the death of her. The current Crimson Lady's official proclamation was that after the deaths of her heirs, her personal guard miraculously found an abandoned Ice egg in the desert, kept cool and safe by its own intensely powerful aura, and brought this special egg back to the Citadel for safekeeping. Like with many of Trekka's proclamations, the truth is somewhat more complex. Trekka has many enemies, and these enemies come into conflict with her personal guard on patrol -- and sometimes, those enemies are known to be carrying dragon eggs with disconcertingly strong magic signatures with them. Whether the eggs rightfully belonged to them or were stolen in their own right, it doesn't matter. The Crimson Lady needs an heir, preferably a powerful one, and so a powerful one she will have.
