Atlantia was born of a simple family, her parents two very old Imperials. They were ancient beasts, some of the first of there kind. They were loyal to one another, as they stayed to themselves within the root system of The Behemoth. They were simple, didnt have fancy apparel or accents. They befriended any of the beast clans that they could with their pleasant nature and good will. The life was simple, and peaceful for them and their children.

Over time their children grew and went out to find their own lives, or a lover of their own. They did not mind; they understood it was time for them to carve out their own path within the world. With their age, they slowed themselves. Till they laid their final clutch. Only one egg was laid, meant to be their last child. They wanted to enjoy their retirement. So, little Atlantia was born. The bright blue little girl filled with life, curiosity, and heart.

She grew up with two older brothers, ones who had not yet left to find their own path. Atlantia quickly showed to be much like her mother, soft spoken and kind to all. She would help anyone who asked, her kindness knew no bounds. Helping wounded beast clan members was common for her; as she spent so much time studying herbs and medicines to be able to help others more. As she grew, her knowledge expanded.

But with her age, came a longing not many understand. She became known for helping wounded travelers, or anyone really who needed it. But as she watched each of her brothers fly away from home, the longing grew.

Her parents could see it in her eyes, as she looked out at the sky and across the green land they called home. Their daughter was lonely, had heart ached for someone to be close to. They knew her time would come, when she felt it best.

Her knowledge of healing and herbs grew more, and it became an unhealthy obsession. She was immersing herself into her work, forgetting everyone around her. She ignored her parents, her own personal health as she drove herself to forget about her emotional issues.. becoming worse and worse each day.

But soon parental enforcement took affect, her parents sat down and talked to their daughter, explaining to her that it was her time to leave home. Atlantia was scared, half hurt her parents wanted her to leave. But, deep down she understood it was a parental love that drove them. That they just wanted her to be better off.. and she finally found herself in agreement.

A few days later, Atlantia had packed her things and prepared for her journey. Where the winds would take her, she did not know. All she knew was she was determined to find her place in the world. It was a tearful goodbye, with promises of visits and letters. With warm hugs, and tearful eyes Atlantia took flight; heading out to the unknown.

Atlantia flew south into the Sunbean Ruins, where she met dragons she never knew existed. She found a small group of Coatls that specialized in medicine, and she spent a few months along side them. They exchanged medical notes, and methods to treatments. They spend many nights camped out within the Sunbeam Ruins, even putting on some clinics and medical demonstrations for other dragons.

Atlantia could not believe all she learned from her new found friends. She helped them learn even more useful herbs, making some trades for some of their own for the stocks she had brought from home. They showed her the plants that within the Ruins worked best for what wounds, and explained to her what Beast Clans were dragon friendly and could offer her any more help she needed.

But she knew she had to keep going, her need to wander still strong. She also wanted to know what else this world had to offer her, what else she could learn from other Flights. Her Coatl friends understood her entirely, an where excited for her journey to continue with such heart warming goals. She had bid farewell to them before she went off along her way once more.

This time, she caught the winds and was carried South East across the Sea Of A Thousand Currents. Landing Wind Swept Plateau. This land was beautiful, filled with kites, chimes, and flags. She had to admit, the place had become her favorite rather quickly. She began to explore, finding the area holding her entire curiosity.

This time, Atlantia met a dragon much like herself. He was an older Wild Claw, that had set out to gain more knowledge. Though not in the medical field like Atlantia, but in history. They became traveling partners within the Plateau. He would tell her of the history he knew, showing Atlantia all of the scrolls he had written and gathered. She found the information interesting, as did the Wild Claw as she explained her knowledge in medicine.

Their time together as traveling partners was a happy one, Atlantia's gentle and kind nature always present as she offered her advice, and help when ever needed. But their time together did come to an end, he was pound for the Star Fall Isles. Atlantia wanted to go else where, deciding to go to the Ashfall Waste. They bid their farewells, and once again she took flight. Her need to wander, still strong.

She flew into the fire, she had to admit the warm climate was rather welcoming compared to the constant winds she had left. But the Ashfall Waste was much different culture wise. The dragons here seemed a bit more violent, and less friendly. She had made her camp within the Emberglow Hearth, hiding herself in a quiet area away from all the metal work. But, in the night she was attacked by a Beast Clan she had never seen. She was calm, trying her hardest to be kind and negotiate them. But that didnt work, they were coming in to kill her.

But that was when he found her.

His name was Armada, a crimson Imperial with a pitch black stomach and horns. He flew to her rescue, jumping into the fight as Atlantia hid away in her small camp. He defeated them all with ease, sending the survivors packing. He was a hero in the smoke, as he came close to Atlantia and introduced himself. She was awe struck, and captivated instantly. Just talking to him she had lost her need to wander across Sornieth.

He took her to his home, within the Black Sand Annex. She was welcomed into the home clan of one of the Ashfall Waste's high Generals. She had never been given such a welcome or treated in such a way as Armada did her. As the clan Leader, he ensured she was taken care of and treated well. Always welcome within the clan. She began to teach them the medicine she knew, soon enough starting to help heal the dragons of the clan. They revered her as the Clan Healer, a position she happily took.

Within a few months, and much of it spent with Armada, Atlantia had found her place beside him as his mate. She was the clan healer, and the mate to a high General. Her life was perfect, their bond close as could be as their lives went along. She had found her path, just as her parents said she would. Soon they were planning to make a trip back to her home, so her parents could meet the strong Imp she had bonded to.

But before they could make their trip, the first Great Destruction came to the world. Humans in their machines rained down like a plague onto the land. Taking dragons, hatchlings and Eggs and killing or wounding those they could not get. Atlantia had watched her mate lead a charge of Fire flight warriors to the sky, holding their home as safe as they could.[/b][/columns]

On the ground, Atlantia was on the medical front as her mate was on the battle front. She was commanding hundreds of nurses and other medical professionals to help the wounded, while trying to keep some of the hatchlings and eggs she could find hidden away. She was scared to death as she could hear those machines as they roared high above. There was panic, pain, and fear across them all. Atlantia was truly on the war front now.

The attack lasted a few days, and soon the planet held a strange silence. It was like death held them all, no one wishing to make a noise in fear of being found. But soon warriors began to land. Atlantia was in those lines, watching as warriors returned to the arms of their joyous families. Soon enough, Armada landed and held her close. Beat up, bruised, and rather shaken.. but alive.

Life as much different after the First Great Destruction. Flights communicated more, the Arcane dragons keeping an eye more on the stars as to maybe see if more ships would come. Patrols on the wing were constant and more dragons were trained for combat. Hide aways were made, in hopes to hide from the humans those who could not fight. Life was different, much different.

Atlantia and Armada never made the trip home, as they were needed more and more here. Atlantia was now working harder to teach medicine to more dragons in hopes of having a much larger medical force if the time came, Armada was needed to over see the training of troops. But their bond was strong as ever, never ending and deep.

But as predicted the Humans came back again in their machines and flying boxes. Though more prepared they still were over whelmed by the human forces. Atlantia had been working on getting dragons under ground and hidden away, while once again Armada was on the wing in battle.

She had been on her way back, heading out to check for anyone else when it happened. The cage landed on her, the harsh metal bars crunching into the earth and closing under her feet. She wailed, held in the cage with no way out. Small rockets on the corner of the cage started up, and she was lifted off the ground towards one of the huge metal birds in the air. But her wail did not go unheard.

Armada slammed into the cage, a roar of rage and fear filled the air as he gripped the metal bars and tried as hard as he could to bend them.. then tried to melt them. But they would not give as he tried to get his mate out of the cage. They were lifted higher and higher into the air, and soon the cage with Armada on the outside was within the metal bird. It landed, and Armada was on the rage. HUmans all around shouting as the enraged male Imperial worked to destroy anything he could, keeping them away from the cage Atlanta was inside. The humans barked in strange tongue, before shots rang out.

They were loud, ear shattering around Atlantia as Armada's angry roars turned into wails of pain. Holes across his body poured a red blood across his black scales, as the shots continued. She watched as his body weakened, his fight draining. His legs gave way before the shots slowed, a few more sounded before the humans gathered round. Atlantia wailed, watching as her mate lay helpless. He called back to her, the sound pained, and longing as he looked at her, his calls fading as she watched the lght fade from his pain filled eyes. But soon man began to get ropes around him and began to pull and move the body towards the bottom door of the ship. All Atlantia could do was wail and call as they shoved Armada's body out of the ship, letting it fall to the land below.

They had to sedate her as the prepared for the flight back to Loonrian. While other dragons remained silent Atlantia called, cried and wailed to the point they could take it no more. They sedated her with a dart, and the world spun before going dark. Her sedation brought little relief, as her dreams were filled with the playback of her mate's horrible death.

When she woke, she was in a large metal cage. Large enough for her to move around easily, but the floor hard stone. Light came out of strange orbs, and when she touched the bars she was shocked badly. She was surrounded by dragons, none of them smelled right. They found her just as strange as she tried to explain to them what had happened, or where she had come. But no one else would understand, they were Loonrian bred dragons. Atlantia had been sold of the cargo ship to Cathkarta Arena. A valuable Original dragon added to the Cathkarta breeding program.

Atlantia spent weeks wailing, crying for her mate. Her spirit and heart broken she was never the same.. just a broken soul trapped in a cage.
