Cry is a lazy dragon who loves having a good time. They’re highly observant, quick-witted, and extremely hilarious. Their jokes— told at precisely the right moments— often have their clanmates in stitches. If there’s raucous laughter echoing through the lair, it’s probably because Cry is there, joking around and making the other dragons smile. They were cast out from their old clan because they didn’t feel comfortable with the gender they were born with. That’s why they like to make their clanmates laugh so much— they want to make sure they’re loved and accepted, even though Coral has made it clear that discrimination won’t be tolerated here.

Cry's hilarious nature doesn’t match their serious line of work. As clan guard, they have to make sure no intruders get into Coral’s lair. Luckily, they have their best friend, Hibiscus, by their side. She’s much more stern and uptight, so they balance each other out well. There’s no one Cry loves more than Hibiscus. Together, they keep their clan safe, telling stories late at night to keep each other awake. Cry will crack the occasional joke, making it their mission to make Hibiscus lose her composure. It’s happened sixteen times over the past year. Cry’s keeping track. Their record is three smiles in one day. Hopefully they can break it. Hibiscus could use a laugh every once in a while.
