Back Story and Family

I was born on Valentine's Day, the celebration of love. When I opened my eyes I was surrounded by colorful and bright pink cards. I later learned that because of my birth my parents had been unable to make it to the Valentine's Day celebration, so other members of the clan had brought them cards and decorations. My mother was weak and my father was tired, but I could see in their eyes the moment I was born that they loved each other and they loved me. My sisters were already clambering around the nest and playing with the paper hearts. Given my origin, it is no wonder I became fascinated with love. When I was a few months old, I discovered romance novels. Really, they were too old for me, but I devoured them all the same. Only a couple existed in the clan, so I read them over and over. I soon realized I wanted to write those books when I grew up.

Romance and Friendships

Despite my obsession with all things romantic, I haven't found love myself. I do enjoy helping it along in real life between my clan mates. I learned early on to ask first! When I was younger I would go around sending invitations supposedly from other dragons. Although I haven't found love, I have found friendship. Lukorra and I have become great friends.

Edit 6/15/16:
I have found love! At first I was struck by Adonis's charm, humor, and good looks, but then I realized how kindly he treats everyone. As the clan's fashion designer he knows just the right outfit for every dragon, but he also knows just the right thing to say to make them feel better. I know when I'm around him I am at my happiest.

On the same day I was born, the clan found a baby Rhodochrosite Crane nearby the clan. None of my siblings showed interest the bird, but I loved her. She and I grew up together, and when I left for the Dragons of the Amethyst Scale, she followed me.

Interest, Hobbies, and Career

In adulthood I realized my dream of writing romance novels. At first only my friends were willing to read them, but soon the clan, and then neighboring clans, wanted my books. I am now happily penning my fifth novel, not counting those that never made it past my closest friends. When I'm not writing, generally I'm working on pottery. I love forming the pots out of clay, but my favorite part is painting them. I'm still a beginner, so this is more of a hobby than a job. Although my clan mates have started to appreciate my writing, they don't yet appreciate my misshapen pottery.
