Almost all of my dragons live on Amethyst Mountain, and can be found in the Amethyst Mountain tab. Some of the others live in Arsia (found in a hibernal den tab), an Arabian Nights-esque kingdom. It is parts egypt and Agraba (from Aladdin), with the landscape of the Sahara and Utah. Sand dunes and hoodoos and maybe the occasional flying carpet make up this world. Mehkari and Sahara are king and queen. In sornieth, Arsia is a desert between the sunbeam ruins and the shifting expanse. Some of my other dragons are part of a pirate crew, and can be found under the pirates tab.

We are located on and around Amethyst Mountain. Amethyst Mountain is the mountain on the right of the bottom two in the Starfall Isles, near where I imagine Crystal Pools as being located. Our clan leader, Amethyst, was hatched from an egg formed from one of the Arcanist's scales. Amethyst's word is law, but she relies on her elemental council when making big decisions.

Dragons of the Amethyst Scale History

Once, when the Arcanist was first created, he wondered about the world around him and set out to explore. During his flight, a wind whipped up and broke off one of his scales. It dropped from the sky and sank into the earth, where it became veins of amethyst. A dragon egg formed in a cavern at the heart of the mountain. It was created from the Arcanist's scale, and some of his magic was infused in the egg. It was many months until the dragon inside of it woke...

Amethyst opened her eyes. All was darkness. She tentatively moved. Something prevented her from moving far. She shoved with all her might. Amethyst felt the thing tip and fall on its side. She clawed at the wall, and a small crack opened. A tiny bit of light came through the opening. In a couple of minutes, Amethyst was able to break open the egg. She crawled out into a dimly lit cave. Lava covered half the floor. She could see glints of sapphire in the walls. She looked back at her egg. It was becoming a scale. She grabbed it with her mouth and carried it with her while she explored the cave.
Over the coming days, she discovered countless caverns, tunnels, and caves. In her dreams she saw the sky, and she longed to find it. Eventually, she succeeded. After that, she studied the stars every night. Amethyst loved expanding her knowledge, but she was lonely. One day a mage journeyed up Sapphire's mountain. The mage's name was Bellzan. She also was a follower of the Arcanist. They united in their search for knowledge and became fast friends. They went on to lead the dragons of the Amethyst Scale together.
A year before Amethyst was born, a plague had swept through the mountains. Many dragons were killed, and an entire clan was wiped out except for a single dragon. Magentio, a magenta faerie, was left all by himself. After wandering aimlessly for a year and a half, he chanced to fly over Amethyst's mountain. He joined Bellzan and Amethyst in their tiny clan. Soon, dragons came from overcrowded, neighboring clans.
