Former home: A certain Lightning Clan...
Position: Outcast: Redox originally had no intention of joining the Kith, and indeed is still ready to take flight from this new home any instant. But that family of Lightning youth and lost Windy souls refuses to let two leprous Pearlcatchers go alone in the world.
Relationships
Parents: (Amethal & Anisen): One of the considerable few Lightning youth who can call Amethal their father. His mother, Anisen, is the carrier of her children's rusting disease. There is no known cure available to any of the five Pearlcatchers affected, though some have learned how to cope with their ailment without it worsening. Anisen has gone to the Stormcatcher's finest to try and mechanically fight back her disease.
Siblings:
(All): Many of Redoxide's siblings carry an unknown rusting skin disease, himself among them. As such, he is an empathetic guardian to his family, extremely close to the ones who are already infected, and stridently avoiding those who are not (yet) ill.
(Corrosen): Redox's littermate. Both hatched from the same nest with the same disease. He is closer to his sister than anyone else, barely ever seen away from her side. He seeks to slow their disease's progress to a stall, so they can live our their lives away from others...alone, but at least peacefully, and without the risk of infection to others...
(Anilen): An older half-sister to Corro and Redox. Her disease is the farthest advanced out of any of them, and her skin has curiously broken open in several places to reveal cold, unfeeling, pearly patches. The younger duo are worried over incessantly by Anilen, who fears that her own health is precursor for theirs.
(Cerrena): A half-sister who has learned how to put other more important matters before her skin ailment. After her first nest was stolen by Harpies, she became a healer on a calm and docile warpath. Her disease is not progressing, nor does it affect her daily life.
(Serithal): A half-sibling to the Pearlcatchers through Amethal. Although an unlikely family member, Serithal is heavily sympathetic to the cause of the ailing and writes of them often.
Mate:(None): Redoxide has ever let himself get close enough to another dragon long enough to even consider falling in love with them. How could he think of holding a dragon close in a caring embrace when he wears a mask to keep himself from even breathing on them?
Offspring:(None): As previously, Redoxide could never get close enough to a dragon to fall for them, let alone to have offspring with them.
Friends:
(None): There is still no proof that rusting disease is not contagious, so until proven otherwise, Redox is not taking the risk. He tends to steer clear of all other dragons who aren't his own leprous family, and has no intention of making friends that he'll only put at risk.
Familiar:
(Fungalhoof Qiriq): Most dragons know Qiriqs to be dangerous creatures, and finding the trail of mushrooms this one leaves behind is a surefire warning to take a different path. That's fine by Redox, who shares the strides of the creature that ensures he and his sister won't be found. The Qiriq doesn't seem to mind their presence, and often leads the way as the duo of dragons forge through the wilderness, away from others.

Valued Possessions: All of his apparel is not quite "valuable" but highly important. Redox attempts to cover as much of his skin as possible, not only from touch but from sight. He also covers his face to keep from breathing on other dragons, holding a concern that his disease may even be airborne. At times, he has to rely on a Lightning-made plasma respiration system to stabilize his disease.
Habits: It's hard for any dragon to say what Redoxide acts like, since he is so rarely around them. Among family, he is generally calm and relaxed. Among others, he is prickly and short. He doesn't want to stay in the company of others for longer than necessary...
Breed/Color Changes: No previous changes. No future changes. But some lore plots. Meheheheheh....
