Biography

Corrosen
(Core-oh-sin) (AKA Corro)
Yk2KjDd.png Garden Lace 1PosW03.png

Most fitting song: Yoko Hikasa - Cruel, Beautiful World
Former home: A certain Lightning Clan...

Position: Outcast: Corrosen originally had no intention of joining the Kith, and indeed is still hesitant to stay. But that family of Lightning youth and lost Windy souls refuses to let two leprous Pearlcatchers go alone in the world.

Relationships

Parents: (Amethal & Anisen): One of the considerable few Lightning youth who can call Amethal their father. Her mother, Anisen, is the carrier of her children's rusting disease. There is no known cure available to any of the five Pearlcatchers affected, though some have learned how to cope with their ailment without it worsening. Anisen has gone to the Stormcatcher's finest to try and mechanically fight back her disease.

Siblings:
(All): Many of Corrosen's siblings carry an unknown rusting skin disease, herself among them. As such, she is a gentle sympathetic with her family, extremely close to the ones who are already infected, and stridently avoiding those who are not (yet) ill.
(Redoxide): Corro's littermate. Both hatched from the same nest with the same disease. She is closer to her brother than anyone else, and seeks to slow their disease's progress to a stall, so they can live our their lives away from others...alone, but at least peacefully, and without the risk of infection to others...
(Anilen): An older half-sister to Corro and Redox. Her disease is the farthest advanced out of any of them, and her skin has curiously broken open in several places to reveal cold, unfeeling, pearly patches. The younger duo are worried over incessantly by Anilen, who fears that her own health is precursor for theirs.
(Cerrena): A half-sister who has learned how to put other more important matters before her skin ailment. After her first nest was stolen by Harpies, she became a healer on a calm and docile warpath. Her disease is not progressing, nor does it affect her daily life.
(Serithal): A half-sibling to the Pearlcatchers through Amethal. Although an unlikely family member, Serithal is heavily sympathetic to the cause of the ailing and writes of them often.

Mate:(None): Corrosen is determined that she should never have a mate. The chance of her disease becoming contagious and infecting the one she loves is too much of a fear to bear. She wears the daisy on her wrist as a sign of remaining (sadly) forever alone.

Offspring:(None): Corrosen is too terrified that her children would carry her disease. She never wants to have offspring of her own, as long as that possibility is present.

Friends:
(None): Without knowing whether or not she's contagious to other dragons, Corrosen has tried to keep company only with those who are as leprous as she is. That short list includes family only, so she hasn't had much opportunity or notion to go out making friends.

Familiar: Deadwood Boar (Deadwood Boar): This falling-apart creature says little, but follows Corro without hesitation. Often, its frequent need for rest encourages its partner to slow her own pace and care for herself. Maybe it sympathizes with her plight.

Technical Specs

Battle Prowess: Careful::Quick::Lash-and-Retreat: // Sweeper/Saboteur

Valued Possessions: All of her apparel is very valuable to her, especially her Daisy Corsage, commonly worn at lone funeral vigils, which is a sign to all prospective mates that she is remaining alone. Her other clothing is meant to try and cover as much of her skin as possible, not only from touch but from sight.

Habits: It's hard for any dragon to say what Corrosen acts like, since she is so rarely around them. Among family, she is generally calm and relaxed. Among others, she is reserved and sometimes even silent. The less she knows a dragon, the more she'll try to cover herself with her cape and keep her corsage visible.

Breed/Color Changes: No previous changes. No future changes. But some lore plots. Meheheheheh....
