Mate Story :

Astra can’t help but keep recounting the first time she ever met Achilles, at a crowded marketplace where she came to buy a jar of glitter or paint, in a desperate attempt to fill “what was missing” from an art piece she has been working on for months on end. It was a simple occasion, she was whirling through the mass of dragons at the marketplace when she saw a Skydancer with sprawling butterfly wings that captured the sunlight, and made a blue mosaic on her face. And as if it was true fate, sunlight ran through both of their wings, reflecting their patterns onto each other. After this, they both realized they just had to speak to each other. Later on, their relationship grew to where they began to start a new clan, in-between gathering herbs in the bamboo forests.

Familiar Story :

Astra and Achilles were journeying through the Windswept Plateau in preparation to collect herbs, taking woven baskets with them. While wandering the plains, they came upon a field of lavender blooms that sprawled out between the ridges of a valley. Petals blew through the air as if they were dandelion puffs, drifting softly like feathers. Both of the Skydancers had never seen this type of flower before, and, curious in identifying it, went to pluck a few. But between the flying flurries of fronds, they could make up a shape moving through the field. A Petalwing Peryton rose through the blooms, munching on a victimized lavender. Astra couldn’t help but socialize with the creature, and she began to run with it through the fields, coaxing it with lavender blossoms that it would playfully chase like a dog with a bone. And from then on that day, the herb gatherers walked home as three instead of two.
